The Craft Beer movement has been on the rise over the past few years in the United States with both quantities and sales increasing steadily across the board.  What does this tell us?  Beer drinkers are interested in trying new, exciting, high quality beers made right here at home.  So we figured we would make it easy for you.

We will be tasting:

Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA (Beer Advocate – 92 Points)­ From one of the best known East Coast Microbrews the "60 Minute" is a fantastic IPA that has set the bar in this category.  A hoppy, aromatic, and flavorful beer.  This is one of my favorites.

Smuttynose Robust Porter (Beer Advocate – 92 Points) – Known of being one of the best known Robust Porters on the market, this one does not disappoint.  A dark, full bodied beer with strong notes of coffee, chocolate, and spice. 

Allagash Tripel (Beer Advocate – 92 Points)  – A great example of a Belgian Style Ale.  Golden in color, aromatic, with floral notes, earth, and strong citrus flavors.   

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA (Beer Advocate- 95 Points) ­  The "90 Minute" version from Dogfish Head is continually rated as one of the top, if not the best, Double American IPA.  Complex aromas and flavors of fruit, earth, and of course, hops!
