I received this email from a colleague of mine and thought I'd post it for some additional help.
Good Day Neighbors and Friends ,
Together with some of my students I am in a contest . It involves who can
get the most pairs of shoes donated for a shoe drive for the earthquake
survivors in Haiti. They will be donated to an organization called
Soles4Souls (http://www.soles4souls.org/
<http://webmail/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.soles4souls.org/>),
From now to Friday the 26th, I will be collecting unwanted shoes of any
type. Even if your shoes are old , worn and seemingly unwearable,
Soles4Souls will refurbish them for use.
To say my competition is fierce is an understatement and that makes this
contest even more challenging. However, I know with the help of the best and
most supportive group of friends in the world I can come out on top and help
some people in need at the same time. So clean the closets, check the
storage bins, look out in the garage and either;
Drop them off at my house at 106 Maple Ave Little Silver
or
Send them in to Red Bank Regional, I have a collection box in room 146, the
Foods Lab at Red Bank Regional
or
Call me at 732-403-6711 or e-mail me to arrange for a pick up.
Thankfully Yours,
Your Humble Public Servant,
Peter Roskowinski
