Here are the details:Bike Maintenance Drop In from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, October 12 at the Manasquan Reservoir, Howell. Look for the tent near the Visitor Center and stop by for informal demonstrations and advice on riding safely and comfortably through our parks. FREE!
Introduction to Ayurvedic Cuisine from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14 at the Dorbrook Recreation Area Visitor Center, Colts Neck. Discover how to incorporate Ayurvedic cooking into your daily life. Pre-registration and fee required. Tai Chi Chih Discipline – Joy Through Movement from 9:45-11:05 a.m. on Fridays, October 17-December 5 at the Tatum Park Red Hill Activity Center, Middletown. Open to ongoing students, this class explores the ancient art of moving meditation. A session for beginners is offered from 11:15 a.m.-12:35 p.m. Pre-registration and fee required.What to Serve with Coffee? from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21 at the Dorbrook Recreation Area Visitor Center, Colts Neck. Bring your apron and appetite as we cook up tasty cakes, cookies and more with Chef Peter DeCelie. Pre-registration and fee required.Fall Foliage Cruise on the Navesink River from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 26. Enjoy the colors of autumn while cruising on a 54-foot classic wooden boat. Meet in the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina parking lot. Pre-registration and fee required. Hacklebarney Hike and Cider Mill on Thursday, October 30. We'll enjoy an easy 3-mile hike then stop for fresh-pressed cider and baked goods on the way home. The van leaves from Thompson Park, Lincroft at 9 a.m. and will return at approximately 3 p.m. Pre-registration and fee required. There's still time to sign up for Creatures of the Night. These family-friendly wagon rides are offered on Friday and Saturday evenings, October 10-25. The cost is $8 per person. Pre-registration is a must.
