For an all-natural ice cream treat, visit Gracie and the Dudes in Sea Bright. After 16 years in the ice cream chain business, Brian McMullin and his wife opened a store where the products were handmade and natural. As parents, they had concerns about the amount of artificial substances in products served in the supermarkets and in other chain restaurants. Now, they make everything as natural as they can, according to McMullin.
At McMullin's shop, their Italian ice is strictly fruit, water and sugar and the ingredients in favorite flavors such as cinnamon oatmeal are homemade. The rest is comes from the West Coast and across the world to insure the best. The shop offers 24 flavors made each day, chosen from a selection of about 60.
