Great Fall Perennial Plant Swap on Saturday, September 26 at Deep Cut Gardens, Middletown. Bring plants in one-quart, one-gallon or two-gallon containers and take home the same number and size of plants. Sorry, no annuals. Plant drop-off is from 8:30-10 a.m. Plant selection is from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. FREE!
Volunteer Beach Clean-up from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 at Fisherman's Cove Conservation Area, Manasquan. Bring a pair of work gloves and help clean up the beach. Meet at the Activity Center. Open to ages 14 and up; 13 and under with parent.
Butterfly Walk at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 27 at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, Long Branch. Join a Park System Naturalist and head outside to identify butterflies. Walk may be a mile or more. Open to ages 12 and up, under 18 with adult. Meet at the shelter building. FREE!
FootGolf Tournament at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 10 at Pine Brook FootGolf Course, Manalapan. Put your best foot forward during our first ever FootGolf Tournament. Open to ages 12 and up. Awards will be given for the best score in men's, women's and children's divisions. Pre-registration and fee required.
Just a reminder – the Open House Barn Dance is this Friday, September 25 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Thompson Park Activity Barn, Lincroft. Stop by and discover how much fun square dancing can be. FREE!
