DCA Site Tracks Spending
The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) now operates a website where residents can access information that details how Sandy recovery funding has been spent throughout the state. Information can be viewed on a statewide level or by county and spent dollars are broken down by the program to which they have been allocated. The numbers also include an approximation of how much funding has been distributed to low-to-moderate income households. Of the $1.3 billion in funding allocated statewide, more that $188 million has been distributed to Monmouth County. Numbers are expected to fluctuate as current distribution reports for the Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation Program (RREM)and the Small Rental Properties/Landlord Rental Repair Program (LRRP) are approximations that will change based on each individuals award.
