Business Partnership 21st Annual Oktoberfest celebration taking place in Veterans Park on Bay & Shrewsbury Avenues on Saturday, October 1st from 1:00 – 7:00 PM. Rain Date – Sunday, October 2nd 1-7PM, Admission and Parking is free.
The park is festive with fall decorations, the food is great, and the varieties of German beers are even better. Authentic German food is a highlight of this famous festival.
Bahrs Landing Restaurant is preparing the menu with plenty of traditional German favorites hot off the grill such as bratwurst, knockwurst, kraut, potato pancakes, goulash, sauerbraten and Bavarian noodles along with other tasty fare those less adventurous.
Quench your thirst with a large variety of Oktoberfest Beers, both light and dark. The beer garden will also serve Riesling wine and Sangria.
Join the thousands of visitors who annually attend to enjoy the live Oompah and polka music by Dancehall Detour. German Dancers will surely get the crowd moving. Festivities will include a “Best-Dressed” Contest, and a “Beer Stein Holding” Contest with special prizes. There will also be 50/50 drawings with 50% of the proceeds going to the lucky winners.
There is something for everyone at the Highlands Oktoberfest. The festival is family friendly and there will be children’s activities, along with a wide variety of retail, specialty and craft vendors.

One Catalyst Foundation (a local nonprofit providing medical financial assistance to those in need) is hosting Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Shore House in Point Pleasant. This incredibly successful fundraiser is back for its second year and will include beer tasting from local breweries, live music, food, basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, activities for children, and so much more. In partnership with The Rural Painter, a N.J.-based art curator offering artists from Southeast Asia the opportunity to showcase their work, this weekend-long event will feature an original art exhibit and workshops in Community Hub along with three days of lively dance performances in Center Court (Fri 5:30pm, Sat 1pm & 3pm, Sun 1pm).

The annual family fun event! Vehicle check-in is at 4:30 p.m., event is 5:30 – 7 p.m. Held along Olde NJ Avenue in North Wildwood. Music, Magic, Balloon Twisting and more! Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the best decorated vehicles.
